Welcome to my project blog. My name is Alan Neville and I’m currently sitting my Masters (MS.c) in Dublin City University in Security and Forensics in Computing. This blog aims to describe (and maintain) the various bit and pieces I come across in relation to my thesis. The title of my thesis (as you can probably guess from the title of this blog) is a Honeypot system designed specifically for iPhones to aid in the collection and arrgiation of attack data for use in analysis. This project will hopefully collect some much needed statistical data on the types of attacks focused towards mobile technologies in large eco-systems. Additionally, this research will also act as a stepping stone in the profiling of these malicious users by identifying choice of systems and tools used in executing these attacks. If you have any questions about this project or comments (constructive/destructive), please feel free get in contact with me.
